The Michigan Excellence in Public Service Series in currently accepting applications for the 2021 program. The deadline for submitting your application is May 21, 2021. We meet one weekend (Friday evening and Saturday) in the months of August, September, October, and November. Included in your fee is either the campaign boot camp or the on camera meeting training which will take place in March of 2022.
In March of 2022 there is the opportunity to register for two boot camps. The first one is our weekend campaign school, which is open to ALL REPUBLICANS (male or female) who have an interest in running for public office, or a Republican who has an interest in being a campaign manager or helping a campaign put an X in the win column. We are building our “bench” of conservative voices so as seats open up, trained candidates are ready to run, win and serve! The second boot camp is for Republican women only, and we cap this weekend at 15 participants. This boot camp will help you craft your message and get comfortable in front of a camera and an audience. Whether you are running for office, or serving in a career that might require you to give an interview, this weekend will help you find your voice and develop your message. Women who have been selected for the full series will have the opportunity to select this as one of their series, and therefore seats are giving to them first.
If you have been selected to participate in the four month series, you will be able to choose which of the boot camps you would like to participate in part of your program. If you would like to participate in both, you will have a discounted registration fee.
The remaining five sessions are for Republican women only. This intensive series will give you the training needed to become a leader in your community, the legislative arena, or in the political field. We invite you to download the application and submit it for review. We also encourage you to invite other Republican women to apply for the program. The cost for this five month program is $500.00 and includes your training, materials and meals. You are responsible for your Friday night hotel.
